Aris Affairs Photography Gives Suggestions for Creating a Professional Company Image for your Prescott Business

Aris AffairsPhotography In Prescott Provides Professional Images for your businessFor the new small or start-up business, it is always a challenge to get your name in front of your potential customers. And even though money may be tight, it is very important that from day one you start to build a positive image for your business. Aris Affairs Photography in Prescott would like to suggest a few steps your business can to help build a professional company image.

Website - A business that does not have a website may be missing out on potential clients. And not having a website may be telling your customers that you are old-fashioned and behind the times. You don’t have to have all the bells and whistles on your website, but you do need one that does the job of letting people know who you are, where you are, what you do and how they can get in touch with you.

Social Media - No doubt about it, this is a very inexpensive way to get your name out. You can use free sites like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and more as an extension of your website. It is important to make sure you update your social media to encourage viewers to come back and look on a regular basis.

Business Cards - Having a good quality business card with all of your business information, including website, e-mail, etc. that you can hand out to potential clients and others you network with is a good investment.

One of the things that all of these have in common is the need for professional images. We’ve all hear “a picture is worth a thousand words” and that’s 100% true when you are creating and building your business identity. If you use “snapshot” graphics, you may be telling your potential clients that you’re working on a shoestring budget. If you use “snapshot” graphics of your product, you may be telling your potential customers your the “new kid in town”. Professional images should be considered an asset of the business and you should start building this library even before you open the doors of your business.

Aris Affairs Photography Explains Why Prescott Businesses Need Professional Photographer for Product Photos

Contact Aris Affairs, professional photographer in prescott for business headshots
Your product IS your business. When showing it to your public via print or on the web, you want it to look it’s best. It could make the difference between clinching the sale and losing out to the competition. Aris Affairs Photography would like to remind Prescott businesses of some things to keep in mind when hiring a professional photographer to take your product photos.

Involve your web designer - In most cases, the type of photographs you use for your website can affect the quality of your pictures as well as the speed of your website. Your web designer will know which file types you should get. The web designer also knows how and where the pictures will be used and is able to help you determine the type of photos you will need to make your website the best it can be.

The Right “Feel” - Think about how you will be using your images. Should they be just catalog style pictures, or do you want them to show the function of your product. Knowing how you want to use your product photos will help you choose the photographer for the job. As you look through portfolios for potential photographers, make sure their work feels right for your product.

Post Processing - When choosing a professional photographer, you will want to find out if your photographer can also do any post processing that may be required. This can be something as simple as adjusting the contract to enhance your product, or even changing the background if needed. This “finishing touch” can make big difference in your finished photo.

Do A Test Run - Once you have chosen a professional photographer, it may be a good idea to do a small test run of a few products to make sure that you are satisfied with the results and so the photographer gets a feel for what you actually want. Most photographers are willing to work with you because they also want you to be satisfied with the finished product.

Get It In Writing - Finally, making sure the parameters for the shoot and the desired end product should be in writing to avoid any misunderstandings. This agreement should cover costs, copyright of photos (if any), timing and details of finished product to be delivered and costs for additional finished photos after the initial contract.

Professional product photographs can add value to your website and make your product stand out. For professional product photography in Prescott, look no further than Aris Affairs Photography. First step of the Engagement...the photo session!

What do you most people think about when they get engaged?  Well, after the tears and excitement, they think about how to share the news.  Most likely you are going to tell the people that you are closest to first.  Then you will call friends and family, and then you will take pictures and send them out to everyone you now in the form of an announcement.

Engagement sessions in Prescott Az brought to you by Aris Affairs Photography
Aris Affairs Photography would like to offer you some things to think about when prepping to do your engagement announcement.

Some photographers offer an engagement session with their packages. So, if you already have a photographer in mind give them a call. You might not need to pay an arm and a leg to get your pictures. Some wedding photographers may even throw in some announcements with a package as well!

Next, if you are on a very limited budget, look for someone who is just starting out.  You may even be able to get free pics if you just give them the model release to use the pictures online.

Or…

Take them yourself. Sure, they wont be the same as a pro but if you love them then what’s the problem.  Do what’s right for you.  Save the wedding photographer for your big day!

After the session is scheduled what do you do next?  Think about what your going to wear.  Color coordinate.  It is best to wear colors that are in the same family.  If you like bright colors both of you should wear bright colors.  If you like soft muted tones then find some close that complement each other.  Pick out a few looks and bring them all if you’re not sure.  This way you can show them to your photographer and they can help you choose.

Most of all…Have fun!  This is when you will get to know your photographer.  Make sure you get along and that you will feel comfortable with them following you around on your wedding day!

As a photographer in Prescott, Az I really enjoy engagement sessions with my brides and grooms.  I get to know them and they can get comfortable with me.  If you are looking for a photographer in Arizona or better yet Prescott. Look up Aris Affairs Photography.  We specialize in Weddings, Maternity, Newborns and Family Photography.  Call us at 928-642-4049 or visit http://www.arisaffairs.com.

Life gets ya down!

Life can throw so many curve balls at you all at once.  If only I had enough arms to catch all of them.  But no, I usually drop them all and fall apart for a bit, and that's OK.  Things happen, kids get sick, husbands get sick, cats destroy the house, and we get sick.  The point that life seems to make every time is to pick up the pieces, dust it all off, put it back where it goes and keep moving!  Keep working even when we don't want to and push forwards...because that it supposed to be when the great things happen!

Something that I have learned in the past 2 weeks...I learned how to get great video on my DSLR cameras.  I bought an external mic and used it.  I am doing a video for a wonderful woman and having fun doing it!

It's been a long time since I have done a video or had fun at it.  The whole process became tainted for me a while back and I didn't want to do it anymore... There was a nasty divorce and my ex husband was my partner. Things can just become tainted sometimes.  It's life.

But, here I am back at it.  It feels good.  Maybe even a little liberating.  Life is full of circles, it's funny that way!

Day 7 Still going!

Yesterday what I learned and watched and read was a bunch of info.  I have been thinking of starting a blog for the local area and about wedding vendors and it was confirmed that I am on the right track.  I read from another pro that the best thing that you can do to get your business running and grab more customers is to build relationships with other business owners in town.  This is what I am finally all about this year!

I also worked on my website again last night, which I’ve been doing every night for about 2 weeks now and I think that it was worth it!  I Got a call today for a June wedding!  Exciting!  This momentum will keep up!  I have decided that I have to set standards for my self and my products because no one else will…and that’s not fair to myself or my customers!

Another thing that I did to boost myself  (technically) was watch a video on shooting video for DSLRs. J I am going to be filming something on the 11th of Feb and I want to make sure I’m prepped…I also want to start shooting video for a once a mo. Video blog for my blog as a featured item.
I am ordering a mic and doing everything that I can to better myself in most ways…we all need work somewhere.

Watching that video made me miss my days as a videographer a bit…maybe I will get back into that too.

But for now, I am excited that I am still writing everyday and keeping it up.
